These are the forms needed for qualification and application for a South Carolina Concealed Carry Permit. Note that now the student can apply online ( https://www.sled.sc.gov/cwp.html ) or by paper form. You will need a copy of your Instructor Student Checklist and the documents described here- https://www.sled.sc.gov/forms/regulatory/Automated%20Fingerprinting%20Registration%20Instructions.pdf and listed below in the document "Automated Fingerprinting Registration and Instructions." It is a very good idea to use the Online application process as it is very easy and it is faster to complete. Below is the course of fire for SC CWP qualification as well as the equipment you will need. You must score 70% hits on the target and score 70% on the written examination to obtain your SC CWP.
Recently, South Carolina passed a new carry law- Open Carry with Training. Now CWP holders will have a choice- to open carry or conceal carry. The law does not go into effect until August 15, 2021. Course covers all the necessary topics to obtain a concealed carry permit in the state of South Carolina. Military/Veteran discount- $70 ( Fee includes range time and holster if needed)
The Concealed Carry Enhanced course includes 1 hour of personal instruction that covers proper shooting technique, fundamentals, drawing from concealment and marksmanship as well as the necessary class time to obtain a South Carolina Concealed Carry Permit. The Enhanced portion of the class occurs entirely on the range. These classes are 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 instructor to student ratio. Price given is for 1.5 hours of training beyond the CWP course. This is an NRA certified class in basic firearm safety and manipulation. We can include your firearm if you need specific training on your weapon system.

Firearms can be rented from us for $10 per class. Ammunition is extra or can be supplied by the student.
These are the different courses of fire for NRA levels of firearm competency such as Marksman, Pro- Marksman, Sharpshooter and Expert. These files include various rifle, pistol and shotgun courses of fire for qualification up to the expert level.
